The Murdoch & Co. No. 4 Flash Eliminator.

During the Mid 2000s British troops using the L85a2 rifle  and its standard flash hider found the flash signature was giving away their positions.

Thus all rifles were upgraded with a  4 prong flash eliminator.

The addition of the upgrade increased the survivability of British troops in firefights dramatically.

This refined and inspired piece is to pay homage to that urgent and essential operational requirement.

Now perfected and compatible with modern 1/2 - 28 thread muzzles.

This 4 prong designed allows maximum barrel harmonic dissipation for reduced  vibration, leading to quicker follow up shots and near elimination of muzzle flash.

In addition, Just like the original, the No.4s design is also able to accept a British issue  SA80 Bayonet.

A tool that is a cornerstone of the British infantry.
